Fins to the Left is a nicely decorated and functional home on stilts just a block off the beach. The swimming pool was well taken care of and the sturdy pool chairs were adequate but not comfortable as were the chairs on the decks. There is an outside shower to rinse off the beach before going in the pool or inside the house. Could use privacy plants or bushes between the pool and Perrin Road, but the local traffic was so little that it didn't matter. From the ground level there are 15 or so stairs to the second level where three of the the four bedrooms were located.

The master suite was very nice with king bed, sofa, large screen TV and balcony. Master Bath was double sink and an incredible large walk in shower with three shower heads. This floor had two more standard queen bedrooms, another bathroom, washer and dryer.

Gear up for another fight of stairs to the main living area. The open concept was nice; kitchen was right at the top of the stairs and was well stocked with utensils, dishes, glasses etc. Ice maker did not work while we were there, but there were trays and a it was a large freezer. The pans were difficult to cook with, everything wanted to stick, could use an electric fry pan or a griddle, but other than that the kitchen was very nice. Dining room held 8-10 easily. The living room was a nice size; the couch was again adequate but not comfortable. TV was large and room was very pleasantly decorated.

Balcony faced the ocean and we got a nice breeze every day. There was also a bedroom with a double and a twin bed and bathroom on this floor. My dream vacation home would also have an inside or outside bar area with pool table, ping pong and game room. This was a great place for us to stay as it was also very convenient to restaurants, shopping, putt-putt golf and other recreation.

There was a bowling alley with food, billiards & a game room at the end of our street. Full size golf courses, surf shops, and ice cream stands are all within a couple minute drive. Barefoot Landing and all that North Myrtle Beach has to offer are just minutes from the house.
